The growth rate of the GDP of Turkmenistan is provided on 6.3 percent level for ten months of the year. Comparing with the same period of the last year, the production has been increased by 6.9 percent.

Volume of retail trade has increased by 19.1 percent while foreign trade by 4.2 percent comparing with the same period of the last year in January – October.

Revenue of the State budget has been fulfilled to the amount of 15.7 billion manats while expenditure part to the amount of 15.6 billion manats for the period under review.

The growth rate of total trade of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was 28.5 percent for ten months comparing with the same period of the last year. At the same time, retail trade has increased by 12.8 percent while the wholesale trade by 40.7 percent. The growth rate of production was equal to 12.3 percent.

The State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange has conducted 209 exchange trade session and registered 25,448 contracts. The growth rate of overall income has made 41 percent.

Companies of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs have made 10.2 percent more of industrial and 16.1 percent more of agricultural and food production.

15.11.2019. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of work of the branches of national economy for the past ten months, drafts State budget and number of other documents have been reviewed.
Having announced the agenda, the Head of Turkmenistan gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Myradov who reported on macroeconomic indices for January – October 2019, which indicate stable development of all branches.

The official opening of the 40th Session of the General Conference of UNESCO took place on November 12, 2019 in Paris, in which the Turkmen delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Education A. Atabaeva took part.
The General Conference opened with a speech by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay.
On the first day of the General Conference, general debates were organized with the participation of 16 heads of states and governments on ecology and multilateralism. The General Conference will also host high-level forums on education and culture.
During the visit of the Turkmen delegation, meetings are planned with the officials of UNESCO, as well as with the heads of several higher educational institutions of France.
The General Conference will continue its work until November 27.

On November 12, 2019, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with Georgian delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikheil Ninua.
During the talks, the parties discussed the key aspects of Turkmen-Georgian relations in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The positive experience of cooperation in the framework of international organizations, as well as the efficient inter-parliamentary collaboration was noted.
Speaking about the development of economic ties, the parties underlined the vital role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation. Accordingly, the successful conduction the day before of the second meeting of the Working group on trade issues established in the framework of the Commission was noted and to attend which the high-ranking delegation of Georgia has arrived to Ashgabat. In this regard, the diplomats discussed the current cooperation in the fuel-energy, transport-communication and other fields, as well as considered the prospective ways of collaboration for the future.
In the conclusion, the diplomats expressed hope for further development of Turkmen-Georgian relations for the benefit of the two countries and people.

10.11.2019. Turkmenistan has widely observed the Harvest Festival. Ashgabat equestrian complex was the centre of celebration events.
Members of the Government and National Parliament, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in our country, personnel of ministries and departments, capital and velayat administrations, personnel of scientific, educational and cultural spheres, public activists, mass media, elders and students were among the participants on the event.
The guests were greeted with songs and dance compositions by famous singers and choreographic groups representing all regions and the capital. Bright palette of celebration reflected richness and originality of national art.
Exhibition of achievements of agricultural complex, which presented wide variety of agricultural production, textile industry and facilities of food industry related to the Government and private sector of national economy, has been opened at the territory of the complex. Sample of modern equipment from the leading manufacturers have also been presented.
Exhibition halls reflecting regional snapshot of large-scale economic changes were presented by the velayats of the country. gastronomic traditions and specialities of cooking of Turkmen traditions dishes raised keen interest of the visitors.
