On November 19, 2019, at the Istanbul University, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey and the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul together with the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and Istanbul University organized and held a ceremony of presentation of the translation into Turkish of the second book of the President of Turkmenistan “Turkmenistan - The Heart of the Great Silk Road”.
The ceremony was attended by the rector of Istanbul University Mahmud Ak, students and teachers of the university, deputy head of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), teachers and students of a number of higher educational institutions of Turkey, diplomats of the Embassy and Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Turkey, representatives of local state and public organizations, businessmen and representatives of the media.

19.11.2019. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with the management of oil and gas complex where improvement of activity of this sphere and enhancement of its efficiency have been discussed.
Highlighting the agenda, the Head of the State gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Minister M. Meredov who reported on the situation in oil and gas industry and plans of development of fuel and energy complex in the nearest future.
It was mentioned that relative work is carried on for introduction of the latest scientific achievements and international practice to fuel and energy complex, increment of volumes of oil and gas production and processing.
The Vice-premier reported on the measures taken for stable provision of gas to local consumers and supplies to foreign markets according to the contracts with Türkmengaz State Concern.

On November 18, 2019, the presentation of the books of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, “A horse - a symbol of faithfulness and happiness” and “Turkmen Alabay,” as well as scientific seminar under the theme “The coverage of Turkmen national and cultural heritage in the books of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov” were held in Beijing.
The chiefs and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, former Ambassadors of the PRC in Turkmenistan, employees of the Chinese National Friendship Society with Foreign Countries, professors and teachers of the higher education institutions, political scientists, representatives of companies and mass media have participated to these events.
The participants of the events got acquainted with the creative works of the President of Turkmenistan in which the uniqueness of Turkmen culture and heritage is reflected.
The participants of the presentation and seminar expressed their gratitude for organizing these events and wished further prosperity and peace to the friendly people of Turkmenistan.


32 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen the UK, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased lighting kerosene and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, as well as gasoline and diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery. Businessmen from Turkey purchased industrial sulfur (“Türkmengaz” State Concern), and businessmen from Russia purchased high-density polyethylene produced at the Kiyanly polymer plant.
Moreover, businessmen from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia purchased cotton yarn and short-fiber cotton to the total amount of more than 48.922 million US dollars.
Businessmen from the Russian Federation and the UAE concluded transactions in deposit manats for cotton yarn to the total amount of more than 922,000.00 manats.
Turkme businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene produced at the “Türkmengaz” State Concern to the total amount of 7.644 million manats.

The growth rate of the GDP of Turkmenistan is provided on 6.3 percent level for ten months of the year. Comparing with the same period of the last year, the production has been increased by 6.9 percent.

Volume of retail trade has increased by 19.1 percent while foreign trade by 4.2 percent comparing with the same period of the last year in January – October.

Revenue of the State budget has been fulfilled to the amount of 15.7 billion manats while expenditure part to the amount of 15.6 billion manats for the period under review.

The growth rate of total trade of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was 28.5 percent for ten months comparing with the same period of the last year. At the same time, retail trade has increased by 12.8 percent while the wholesale trade by 40.7 percent. The growth rate of production was equal to 12.3 percent.

The State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange has conducted 209 exchange trade session and registered 25,448 contracts. The growth rate of overall income has made 41 percent.

Companies of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs have made 10.2 percent more of industrial and 16.1 percent more of agricultural and food production.
