To the International day of Nowruz the State Committee of Turkmenistan for tourism prepared the special edition of “Syýahat” magazine, dedicated to the ethnic cuisine. The target number represents the wealth of the generous fruits of our fertile lands, and features of the Turkmen cooking, compounding fragrant churek, peshme, pilaf, unash, ishlekli, such ritual traditionally festive food, as seed, dograma, etc.
Decorated by bright, “appetizing” photos the magazine, published in the Turkmen, English and Russian languages, is designed to cause a huge interest and desire from foreign readership to visit Turkmenistan, certainly including cultural and educational tour of the gastronomic component. The issue also includes articles about holiday customs of the Turkmen people, traditions of hospitality and neighborliness, spiritual and cultural heritage of the people.
