23.12.2018. Gradual improvement of level and quality of people’s life are the main objectives of large-scale urban construction programme, which is steadily implemented in Turkmenistan. Taking into account great perspectives pf construction section, profile forums play big role in exchange of practice and establishment of the contacts between national and foreign specialists.
The most optimum conditions have been made at present time for successful business – national legislation is improved and investment activity is stimulated. Of course, rich natural resources, favourable geographic location of the country open wide opportunities for this. The state provides the investors with significant support in the form of tax, custom, visa, insurance and other benefits. Share of financial investments to production of gross domestic product is growing and number of investment projects and joint ventures are established in the result.
International exhibition “Turkmen Construction 2018” and conference “Development of Construction Industry of Turkmenistan” were held in Ashgabat on August 28. Demonstration of success and achievements of construction complex and industry, modern technologies, projects and competitive production, expansion of trade and economic relations, exchange of practice and information in the sphere of innovative technologies, provision of conditions for beneficial contracts between the producers and customers are the main goals of specialized exposition.

20.12.2018. Large sectoral and multisectoral economic forums have become one of the most powerful and meaningful forms of fruitful business dialogue. Timed to coincide with the 27th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, the Exhibition of Economic Achievements deserves particular attention in a 2018 overview.
The exhibition illustrated the growth dynamics in the fuel and energy sector, agro-industry, construction, transport and communications, healthcare, science, education, culture, sport, tourism, and others.
Local businessmen and manufacturers, whose number is growing with every year thanks to special measures intended to support and stimulate the non-state sector, also showcased their products and services at the exhibition. Today, Turkmen companies are competing head-to-head with foreign firms in all sectors.
In recent years, the regions, etraps and white marble-clad capital have evolved dramatically with social facilities, office buildings, comfortable homes, and manufacturing enterprises built and opened systematically. Growth rates of the domestic construction industry and its visible achievements were amply demonstrated on display stands of construction authorities and large construction enterprises.
Modern transport infrastructure and the provision of quality and affordable services to the population in this field are seen as an integral part of the country’s steady economic development. Exhibits on display offered eloquent testimony to this.

19.12.2018. Strengthening of international cooperation in transport and communication sector is one of the main aspects of the policy of Turkmenistan. In modern realities, transport communications are the main segments of the world economy making direct effect on the stability and balance of international economic relations. This was proven by International Forum “The Great Silk Road: Toward New Levels of Development”, which was held in Avaza national tourist zone in May of this year. High level meeting gathered together the representative of several foreign countries and competent organizations as well as big companies specialized in transport and logistics.
Speaking to the participants of the forum, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the phenomenon of the Silk Road, which opens colossal opportunities for development and progress of dozens of countries and hundreds of millions of people.
Having confirmed the willingness of our country to close cooperation with the UN specialized countries, especially with the UN European Economic Commission, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and pacific, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made number of specific proposals related to further development of international transport infrastructure.
It was mentioned that Turkmenistan entirely supports the initiative of the International Motor Transport Union on the formation of modal highway for Central Asia with the entry to turkey and is willing to support the implementation of the project. The Head of the State has also urged to activate the discussion of various aspects of construction of Afghanistan – Turkmenistan – Azerbaijan – Georgia – Turkey transport corridor under the UNECE and ESCAP.

15.12.2018. Exhibition of export good of the Republic of Turkey, which has been organized by the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Turkmenistan together with Turkish Meridýen Uluslararasi Fuarçilik Company, was opened in the capital.

Being an efficient ground for demonstration of wide range of production made by Turkish partners and for exchange of new development, specialized review is to give new impulse to economic cooperation of two countries and to expand the sphere of business activity.

Delegation of the government structures of Turkey, top managers and specialists of 70 companies who have interest in steadfast development of fruitful cooperation with our country has come to our country to participate in the review.

Multidimensional review in the exhibition centre of the Trade and Industrial Chamber presented wide range of Turkish export production including equipment and spare parts for industrial branches and agriculture, construction materials, household appliances and electronics, soft and office furniture, textile, chemicals, perfumes, various food products, household goods.

06.12.2018. The International Conference entitled ‘The Importance of the Silk Road: Present and Future Development’ has opened in the Yyldyz Hotel.

Organized by the Government of Turkmenistan in cooperation with UNESCO, the forum aims to demonstrate the importance of the Silk Road for sustainable development, unlock the potential of the legendary route’s common heritage for enhanced intercultural dialogue, and recognize its significant contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Among those in attendance are ministers, senior representatives and experts from some 50 countries, including Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Georgia, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Kenya, Iraq, Italy, Japan, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nepal, the Philippines, Qatar, Spain, Sri Lanka, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, and the UAE among others.
