01.08.2019. Work for creation of new directions of scientific and technological developments is successfully carried out in Turkmenistan, measures for attraction of talented youth to the sphere of high technologies are taken.
Together with their tutors, young scientists make studies in such current directions as nano-materials, chemical, biological and information technologies, mechatronics, robotics and innovations.
Fundamental, practical and theoretic developments support the enhancement of the authority of Turkmenistan in international scientific space.
The Centre of Young Scientists under the Academy of Sciences and Magtumguly Youth Organization’s Central Council carry out work for stimulation of younger generation to do scientific and cultural activity. The cooperation is also carried out between scientific and research institutes of the Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan and high educational institutes. Students of the institutes studying such directions as history and archaeology take part in the excavations at historical and cultural monuments; meetings and talks with scientists and conferences are organized for them.

On the 31st of July 2019, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Under Secretary General for Programmes and Operations of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Jagan Chapagain who has arrived to Ashgabat on a working visit.
During the meeting, the parties noted the effectiveness of humanitarian cooperation between the IFRC and Turkmenistan. The guest expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for fruitful cooperation. It was noted that the IFRC Representative Office has started to function in Ashgabat that will facilitate the process of implementing the joint projects and programmes.

The Light of Avaza, an original sculptural composition with such name has decorated an architectural ensemble of se resort on Caspian Coast. The opening ceremony of the monument was held in National tourist zone yesterday.
New facility of monumental architecture was built on the intersection of Arkadag and Berkarar Avenues, next to the entrance to Jadyly kenar Amusement Park. Seven swans riding the waves made of silver metal are in the centre of the ascendig composition. The height of the monument is 23 meter, the diameter of the podium washed by fountain is 33 meter.
The participants of the ceremony noted in their speeches that Turkmenistan confidently follows the way of progress. Our country successfully implements large-scale programmes of development of industrial sector, agricultural complex, transport and communications sphere, big investments are sent to intellectual sphere – the education and science.

On July 25, 2019, the first issue of the Turkmen-Astrakhan information bulletin “Khazar” has been published with the support of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) together with the Government of the Astrakhan Region.
The first issue of the newsletter reveals the main priorities of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation on the Caspian Sea, including the joint implementation of the initiative of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to hold the First Caspian Economic Forum (PCEF) on August 11-12, 2019 in Turkmenbashi.

As reported, in frames of the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers that focused on the results achieved in the first six months of the year, the President of Turkmenistan granted vacation to the government officials on July 15 - August 15. Within this period, the heads of ministries and sectoral departments have the opportunity to have rest and improve their health in sanatoriums and resort centres.
While on leave, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov demonstrates an unwavering commitment to the principle of the efficient time management. As reported, during his leave, the President of Turkmenistan completed the next volume of the scientific work “Medical Plants of Turkmenistan”.
Today, on the eve of the announcement of an international tender for the implementation of a new stage of development of the Turkmen capital, the President inspected the projects for the further development of Ashgabat using digital technologies, and gave the relevant recommendations in this regard.
We are talking about the implementation of an architectural mega-project - Ashgabat-City. In frames of the project, it is planned to build a large complex of social, administrative and other facilities, all the necessary infrastructure. The projects of the new “city in the city” reflect the best traditions of the national architecture and the advanced trends of the world urban planning as well as an innovative approach embodied in the very concept of the project.
