President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council where Hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat city have also been invited. Preparation to New Year celebrations and number of priority issues of domestic policy have been reviewed.

Having announced the agenda, the Head of the State gave floor for report to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister R. Meredov. The Vice-premier, the Head of the MFA highlighted that according to the initiatives of Turkmen leader on December 20, 2017 at the 74th session of the 72nd UN General Assembly, all members of the United Nations unanimously adopted the Resolution on Strengthening the Links between all modes of transport to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Addressing Turkmenistan citizens and the members of the session, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of the adoption of the Resolution on Strengthening the Links between all modes of transport to achieve the Sustainable Development at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly. The document expresses the support of the efforts of the Government of Turkmenistan for organization of the first UN Global Sustainable Transport Conference and notes with delight Ashgabat Statement on obligations and recommendations on political matters of this world forum. Ashgabat Declaration that became the final document of High-level International Conference “Role of Transit and Transport Corridors in Provision of International Cooperation and Sustainable Development” held in Turkmen capital in 2014 has also been mentioned.

In this regard, the President expressed sincere gratitude to the states who acted as the co-sponsors of the above-mentioned Resolution as well as to other UN members who supported it. Continuing the subject, the Head of the State noted that this was not the first Resolution of the UN General Assembly on transport subject. This fact as well as election of our country as the Chairman of the Energy Charter Conference in 2017 indicate comprehensive support and high evaluation of the policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan by the world community.

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich took part in the Central European Initiative business forum "Energy Efficient and Ecological Technologies".
The business forum in Minsk gathered over 200 representatives of business community, state organizations, academic community of the CEI member states, as well as international financial institutions representatives.
The forum participants discussed the issues regarding introduction, using and development of modern energy efficient and environmentally friendly technologies to achieve sustainable social and economic development in the CEI region.
The event was organized by the State Committee on Standardization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study and the BelCCI In view of the CEI Belarusian Presidency in 2017.

25.10.2017. In Turkmenistan, an international exhibition and scientific conference "Education and Sport in the Epoch of Might and Happiness" will be held on November 9-10 this year.
About 30 international organizations accredited in Ashgabat, as well as foreign companies - producers of computers, interactive equipment, lingaphone and laboratory equipment, school furniture, visual aids, educational software, sportswear and stock will participate in the event.
Turkmenistan will be represented by universities, educational and sports organizations, specialized individual enterprises.
It is expected that scientists and specialists from 27 countries will take part in the scientific conference.

Within the framework of the 10th Congress of the World Federation of Chambers of Commerce, which takes place in Sydney (the Australian Union) on September 19-21, the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich met with the Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce World Chambers Federation Peter Mihok.

During the meeting, the prospects of cooperation of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the ICC were discussed, as well as the possibility of creating a National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce in Belarus.

Peter Mihok noted the importance of holding the international round table discussion "ATA Carnet and trans-border cooperation" by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on October 6 this year, and expressed interest of the leadership of the International Chamber of Commerce in visiting Belarus in the near future.
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is an independent, non-commercial international organization established in 1919 to help businesses by promoting trade and investment, opening markets for goods and services, and facilitating free movement of capital throughout the world.

All chambers that are members of ICC automatically become members of the World Chambers Federation, established by ICC to be the advocate of its chamber of commerce members worldwide.

The Bel CCI became a member of the ICC in 1998.

The Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with the Cambodian delegation headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia Mrs Tekreth Kamrang. Vladimir Goshin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia, took part in the meeting.
The sides considered the prospects for bilateral business cooperation expansion in the fields of agriculture and agricultural machinery production and supply, as well as the possibilities of the Belarusian delegation participation in business activities to be held in Pnomh Penh this December.
