The Sudan-Belarus business forum in Khartoum, organised by the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation in cooperation with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to coincide with the official visit to Sudan of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, addressed the prospects of the two countries' businessmen partnership development.
The forum paid special attention to joint projects in mechanical engineering, mining industry, agriculture, and pharmaceutical industry. The participants discussed prospects for launching exports of Belarusian equipment and agricultural products to Sudan, and also considered ways to attract investment from big Sudanese companies to Belarus.
The business forum resulted in a number of cooperation agreements between Belarusian and Sudanese businessmen.
A business matchmaking session was held as part of the forum.
