The 4th International exhibition and scientific conference “Sport and Tourism in the Epoch of New Revival” will be held in the Ashgabat exhibition palace “Sergi Kosgi” from  5 to  7 November , 2012. The exhibition is to be held under the aegis of the Honorable President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, giving special priority to the development of mental and physical health potential of the nation, as well as to the effective development of tourism as priority area of the social and economic policy in Turkmenistan.
The organizers: The State Committee for Tourism and Sport of Turkmenistan, Chamber of commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
To enter the dynamic market of Turkmenistan today means to appear in the center of world sports on the eve of V Asian Games "AZIADA 2017", to be held in Ashgabat according to the decision of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). The city actually claims to turn in 2017 into one of world sport capitals. The sport objects meeting the highest international standards are under construction now in Ashgabat and in all Turkmenistan regions. Among them - new horse-racing tracks, stadiums, sport and health centers, sports schools and ultra-modern Olympic village in Ashgabat, which will host the “Asian Games-2017”.
With its rich tourist potential, Turkmenistan already claimed to be a tourist center of Asia. The world class resort and tourist infrastructure of the Caspian seaside – “National Tourist Area Awaza” continues to grow and attract thousands of new fans to the active and meaningful holiday. Along with the expansion of recreational tourism, the “NTA Awaza” short-term development plans include the development of ethno-tourism, as well as luxury tourism with business centers, casinos, yachts and golf clubs to be open.
